Following the huge success of the 2022 & 2023 Killarney Club 7s, Spa GAA are delighted to announce that our 7-A-Side Gaelic Football Tournament will be returning in 2024. Furthermore, we are again very excited to be running this year’s event in association with Heineken. Once again, men and women from the four corners and of the country and abroad will be competing against each other over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, namely Sat 1st & Sun 2nd June in Spa GAA Club, Killarney, Co. Kerry.

Matches will be played across three top class pitches, which can be easily viewed from all areas of the grounds. Fully stocked bars and some top class entertainment will be on offer in the Heineken Tent whilst also providing the perfect vantage point to take in all the drama the football is sure to throw up.

2024 DAILY AGENDA

Saturday, June 1st

At 10:00am the first ball will be thrown in to get the Killarney Club 7s underway. The first group of both the men’s and women’s competition will run simultaneously, with one commencing on Pitch 1, Pitch 2 & Pitch 3. These games will be played throughout the morning and evening. The Play will end at 6pm on Saturday evening with all group games being completed. The Heineken Tent will open at 12pm with music and fun running until 10pm. Delicious food will be available throughout the day in our Food Court. Killarney Town is only a stones throw away when the nights festivities conclude and our free shuttle buses will provide transport for anyone interested.

Sunday, June 2nd

Kicking off at a later time of 10.30am, the competition will move to the knockout stages. Every team
will have something to play for on finals day as the winners and runners up in both the men’s and women’s groups will qualify for the Cup and the remaining teams as they will play off in the Shield. Cash prizes available for both the Cup and the Shield winners. Play will end at 7pm with the Men’s Cup Final being the final game. The Heineken Tent will once again open at 12pm and music will run until 10pm. The final day of festivities promises to be a fun-filled, exciting day of football and entertainment.
